Incorporating Your Residents' Holiday Traditions

The holidays are a special time of year for everyone. It’s a great time for people to come together. In long-term care, it can be difficult for residents who are used to their own traditions and way of doing things.

And while a turkey dinner and some festivities are always a good idea, it may not be enough.

Why not have a conversation with your residents about their holiday traditions? For some it could be baking. You could allow them to spend some time in the kitchen making some delicious baked goods.
